Applications to be submitted by September 08, 2026Compensation Grade:P25Compensation Details:Minimum: $100,379.00 - Maximum: $100,379.00 AnnuallyPositions with a designated work location in New York City, Nassau, Rockland, Suffolk, or Westchester Counties will receive a $4,000 annual downstate adjustment (pro-rated for part-time positions).Department(OPH) Office of Public HealthJob Description:Responsibilities The Project Manager will be responsible for leading the successful migration of a statewide legacy learning management system (LMS) serving over 60,000 users to a new platform. This role will oversee all aspects of the project lifecycle, including planning, implementation, stakeholder coordination, and post-launch stabilization. The Project Manager will work closely with the LMS vendor, state agency information technology teams, and program stakeholders to ensure the system meets operational, training, and compliance needs. Internally the Project Manager will work with unit leadership and stakeholders to establish policies for instructional design, and categorization, life cycle, maintenance, and sunsetting of learning opportunities.Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in a related field and four years of experience in program administration/management, project management, or a related field; OR an Associate's degree in a related field and six years of such experience; OR eight years of such experience. A Masters degree in a related field may substitute for one year of experience. At least two years of experience must have included supervision of staff.Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree in a related field (Information Technology, Learning and Development, Instructional Design, Adult Education.PMP certification.Experience working within a public sector and/or grant-funded environment.Work experience and/or familiarity with statewide or enterprise-level learning systems supporting large user populations.Working knowledge of accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) and adult learning principles.Conditions of EmploymentGrant funded position. Compliance with funding requirements such as time and effort reporting, grant deliverables, and contract deliverables, is required.Valid and unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
