Beyond sanitizing and maintaining rooms during and after stays, you will greet guests warmly, provide helpful information, and embody the professional yet welcoming spirit of our resort. This role is more than cleaning- your work will uphold a flawless, welcoming atmosphere where every detail reflects Mirbeau's hospitality and our Forbes-rated standards. Our ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, sharp attention to detail, and the ability to multitask efficiently. With purpose and discretion, they understand that thoughtful housekeeping is key to exceptional hospitality. They notice what others overlook, knowing that the smallest touches- like perfectly folded linens and flawless rooms- helps to create a restorative environment where our guests can truly relax and rejuvenate.Pay Rate: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour.Job Responsibilities:Guest Service & Hospitality Greet guests warmly and respectfully, using Forbes and Mirbeau's language standardsProvide courteous, discreet service, with a respect for privacy, friendliness, and genuine hospitalityPersonalize interactions by using guest names when known, anticipating needs whenever possibleRespond to guest needs, complaints, and requests with care, professionalism, and a sense of urgencyAlways represent Mirbeau's refined standards with warmth and professionalism at all timesGuest Room Cleaning & Preparation Thoroughly clean and reset guest rooms according to Mirbeau and Forbes-rated standardsSanitize and refresh all bathroom fixtures including tubs, showers, sinks, counters and toiletsDust and polish furniture, mirrors, artwork, and fixtures; vacuum carpets and mop floorsMake beds with precision, and replace amenities, linens, towels and guest suppliesOrganize guest belongings respectfully in stayover rooms, respecting their privacy and preferencesReport and return lost and found items to the Front Desk- labeled with room number and dateEnsure all furniture, electronics, and room features are clean, functional, and in proper orderPerform a final room inspection and report readiness to Housekeeping ManagementSupplies & Equipment Management Maintain fully stocked housekeeping carts and linen closets, keeping them tidy and well-organizedUse only resort-approved cleaning supplies as directed; maintain all tools and equipment in safe, clean working conditionTransport soiled linens to laundry during breaks to assist with laundry turnoverReturn housekeeping keys, equipment, and supplies to designated areas securely and properlySet up or return rollaway beds and cribs as neededKeep hallway carts and bins neat and unobtrusive to guestsProfessionalism & Work Ethic Arrive on time, in a clean uniform with name tagMaintain a neat, professional appearance, practicing proper hygieneFollow all housekeeping guidelines and complete cleaning tasks in a timely, organized mannerComplete daily task lists efficiently and thoroughly, with attention to detailAdapt to changing priorities with flexibility and focusReport safety concerns, unusual room conditions, or maintenance needs to leadership immediatelyTeam Communication & Collaboration Communicate clearly and respectfully with team members, leadership, and other departmentsAttend and participate in staff meetings and training sessions as required by the resortShare relevant guest feedback and/or operational concerns with management, as appropriateSupport fellow team members in maintaining the pace, standard and flow of daily operationsSupport a positive and productive work environment through helpfulness, professionalism and accountabilityPerform additional tasks and/or support other departments as requestedQualifications, Skills & Educational Requirements:Experience & Education Previous hotel or resort housekeeping experience preferredAbility to quickly learn job responsibilities with minimal trainingPhysical Requirements Must be in good physical healthAble to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive motions for extended periodscapable of lifting and carrying up to 40 lbs safely and regularlySkills & Personal Attributes Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanlinessNeat, well-groomed and professional appearance at all timesPleasant, polite demeanor with a positive attitudeService-minded- committed to creating a welcoming and comfortable guest environmentAble to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as part of a team when neededSelf-motivated and strong time management skillsDependable, punctual, and organizedFlexible with changing priorities or assignmentsCommunication Must understand and be able to communicate in English- both verbal and written- as required for guest interaction and team collaborationMust follow all Forbes and Mirbeau language standards when interacting with guestsEmployee Perks and Company Incentives:Discounted rates for services and retail items within the spa!401K with company matchMedical, Dental, Vision and Life Insurance PlanEmployee Assistance Program and ResourcesPaid time off for full-time AND part-time employees!!Holiday PayCareer advancement potential within the companyAnniversary Program!!Work Performance IncentivesAnd more!!!Only the best understand that perfection is found in every detail.
