University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Direct Care Workers to join our team in Van Buren Township, MI. This role involves providing high-quality, personalized care and support to individuals in their homes, helping them maintain independence and improve their quality of life. Responsibilities

Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation
Provide companionship and support to promote emotional well-being
Help with medication reminders and basic health monitoring
Ensure the safety and comfort of clients at all times
Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any significant changes in clients’ conditions
Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to provide coordinated care

Requirements

Previous experience in direct care or a related field is a plus
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
Pass background checks
