As we move away from legacy platforms, there remains a gap for analytics in the cloud. That means it takes longer than necessary for analytics teams to find the data they need to do their jobs. Once they find data, access can be challenging.In this role you will:Work with serverless cloud services to create integrations, APIs endpoints and related componentsWork on features and POCs with industry-leading technologies and toolsWork on greenfield space to shape the modernization efforts for the analytics ecosystemCreate automated tests for functional, performance, and security in order to ensure flexibility over time.Work alongside multiple lines of business and platform teamsCreate custom integrations between existing Vanguard tools, AWS components, and vendor products.About you:You care about software quality and maintainabilityYou have an interest in serverless architectureYou want to shape the Analytics modernization effort enterprise wideQualificationsExperience and technologies that you will work with:Scripting & Programming: Python – 5+ years' experience5+ years' experience with Infrastructure as a Service3+ years' experience with building serverless applicationsAWS Core Services: Cloudformation, Step Functions, DynamoDB, S3, Glue, AthenaAWS Serverless Infrastructure: Lambda, SQS, SNS, EventBridge, API Gateway, Application Load BalancerNice to have:AWS Associate or Professional CertificationEMR knowledgeDocker & Kubernetes
