Principal Consultant, Insurance

The Principal Consultant of Insurance at Zennify is a senior strategic leader who elevates our Insurance engagements by activating deep Salesforce expertise and insurance industry knowledge into clear points of view, strategic frameworks, and repeatable advisory solutions. This role plays a critical part in advancing Zennify’s Strategic Advisory Practice within the Insurance sub‑vertical and building executive‑level client confidence. The expectation is that approximately 70% of this individual’s time is billable to the client. The ideal candidate will make immediate client impact while shaping the long‑term growth of Zennify’s Insurance practice. Primary Responsibilities Support Zennify’s strategic advisory and consulting services for the Insurance practice by defining, presenting, and delivering Zennify’s Insurance Point of View and strategic frameworks during pre‑sales motions and early‑stage discovery engagements. Partner with Sales and Delivery Consulting leadership to identify, shape, and drive new opportunities within key insurance accounts, including new prospects and in‑flight engagements. This may include both billable and strategic investment work. Strategize and lead the growth of the Insurance sub‑vertical by engaging in Strategy and Advisory engagements that align executive objectives, regulatory considerations, business strategy, and Salesforce‑based technology roadmaps. Support pre‑sales activities by assessing client needs, defining solution approaches, developing estimates, and shaping delivery strategies grounded in Salesforce capabilities and insurance best practices. Ensure executive alignment and client buy‑in across proposals, estimates, roadmaps, and solutions by clearly articulating value, tradeoffs, and outcomes. Provide expert‑level consultation and point of view on insurance industry trends, regulatory drivers, operational challenges, and digital transformation opportunities, with a strong emphasis on Salesforce‑enabled solutions. Identify recurring client challenges and collaborate with leadership to design, validate, and enable insurance‑specific offerings and accelerators. Partner with the GTM team to develop thought leadership content, including white papers, blogs, and points of view, tailored to the Insurance market and Salesforce ecosystem. Build and maintain trusted advisor relationships with client executives to support long‑term success, account expansion, and strategic influence. Leverage AI‑enabled Salesforce technologies to streamline insurance processes, surface insights, and help sales and delivery teams identify risks and opportunities. Key Activities Define, create, present, and deliver Zennify’s Insurance POV and strategic roadmaps, while enabling Sales, Solution Engineers, and Delivery leaders in strategic client engagements, both paid and investment‑based. Lead strategic insurance discovery and advisory workshops that align stakeholders, surface business challenges, and establish consensus around Salesforce‑driven solutions. Architect business processes and digital transformation strategies across insurance personas, including carriers, brokers, and supporting entities. Facilitate in‑person and virtual executive workshops to build trust, clarify priorities, and drive alignment across business and technology stakeholders. Identify and recommend business process improvements and Salesforce technology solutions that directly support client outcomes and KPIs. Develop high‑impact, client Corlyn deliverables that drive meaningful discussion, executive decision‑making, and confidence in Zennifyобходим approach. Utilize, refine, and evolve decision‑making frameworks that accelerate alignment and engagement outcomes across varying sizes and complexities of insurance engagements. Work closely with Delivery leaders to ensure teams are grounded in client business objectives, success metrics, and value realization throughout the engagement lifecycle. Required Qualifications 10+ years of experience working within the insurance industry, including strategy, operations, or consulting roles across carriers, brokers, or related entities. 8+ years of hands‑on experience with Salesforce and related technologies, in a solution design or delivery leadership capacity for insurance clients. 5+ years of consulting experience, including leading client relationships, shaping engagements, and guiding internal teams. Demonstrated success delivering Salesforce‑enabled digital transformation initiatives across the insurance value chain. Executive‑level communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence, align, and advise C‑level stakeholders. Proven leadership experience engaging senior decision‑makers, driving alignment, and delivering measurable client value. Strong understanding of the consulting model, including customer success, engagement profitability, and account growth. Ability to collaborate effectively across organizational levels, functions, and roles in a remote‑first environment. Willingness to travel up to approximately 30% as client needs require. Qualities of the Ideal Candidate Provides strong leadership by aligning teams to a shared vision and guiding organizations through change. Thrives in a growing, evolving environment and is comfortable operating with ambiguity. Is deeply client‑success oriented, with a consistent focus on outcomes, satisfaction, and long‑term value. Excels at facilitating executive‑level discussions, both in‑person and virtual, in a concise, confident, and persuasive manner. Demonstrates strong prioritization and multitasking skills across concurrent strategic initiatives. Works effectively across all levels of an internal organization, from deliveryROY to executive blocks. Brings a positive, professional demeanor with exceptional interpersonal skills in both internal and external relationships.
