Summer Analyst In The Global Finance & Business Management Analyst ProgramIf you're excited by turning data into insights, using analytics to inform real business decisions, embracing emerging automation and utilizing AI-enabled capabilities, we have a role for you; Global Finance & Business Management (GFBM) is dedicated to continually improving our business—strategically, financially, and operationally—by combining financial expertise with advancing technologies.As a Summer Analyst in the Global Finance & Business Management Analyst Program, you'll collaborate with top-tier professionals to influence and shape key decisions, initiatives, and outcomes that support businesses across the firm; you'll have opportunities to make meaningful contributions through hands-on projects, applying analytical thinking, structured problem-solving, data-informed insights and analytical frameworks to identify trends, manage risk and improve business outcomes in a dynamic team environment.This 9-week internship program delivers the training, mentorship, and exposure you need to succeed, including access to senior leaders, peer mentorship, and projects designed to engage your full skill set—spanning financial analysis, data interpretation, and critical thinking. You'll be placed as a member on one of our finance teams where you'll work within one of the following functional groups: Business Management, Controller, Financial Analysis, and Project Management. This role serves as a pipeline to the full-time Global Finance & Business Management Analyst Program, upon successful completion of the internship, you may receive an offer to return as a Full-Time Analyst in the same location, (the full-time program is a two-year rotational experience consisting of two 12-month rotations across different functional groups and lines of business).The responsibilities below align to each of our functional groups:Job ResponsibilitiesBusiness ManagementAct as a trusted advisor to business and group heads by identifying, escalating, and mitigating business risksOptimize business performance by driving key initiatives supported by financial and data-driven insightsLeverage reporting, metrics, and analytics to support strategic planning and executionControllerEnsure the integrity and accuracy of financial statements and controls across the transaction lifecyclePerform critical reporting and controls functions, including legal entity, financial and regulatory reporting, and product valuationPartner with stakeholders to enhance controls, transparency, and data qualityFinancial AnalysisCreate meaningful financial analysis, reporting, and insights to support business strategyCoordinate with partners across the firm on budgeting, forecasting, and performance managementUse data and analytics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities impacting the businessProject ManagementSupport initiatives that drive cross-line-of-business or firmwide priorities, including new regulations, standards, or policies and contribute to large-scale programs consisting of multiple projects and work streamsTrack progress, analyze outcomes, and support data-informed decision-making across project lifecyclesRequired qualifications, capabilities, and skillsPursuing a B.A., B.S., or 5th-year M.A. or M.S., with an expected graduation date of December 2027 or June 2028Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, and dynamic environmentStrong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skillsA well-rounded academic background with an interest in financial management, analytics, and dataDigital-first mindset; data driven critical thinking skills; curiosity, adaptability and willingness to learn new tools/skills/technologies; proficiency in Excel and PowerPointRelevant internship experience and demonstrated leadership in academic or community organizationsPreferred qualifications, capabilities, and skillsMinimum cumulative GPA of 3.2 on a 4.0 scaleWorking knowledge of data analytics, visualization tools, programming language tools, etc. (such as Tableau, Alteryx, Python, etc.)Intermediate Excel Skills (Vlookup, Pivot Tables, Index Match)Locations you may join:Columbus, OHChicago, ILPlano, TXWilmington/Newark, DETo be eligible for this program, you must be authorized to work in the U.S. We do not offer any type of employment-based immigration sponsorship for this program.
