Job Title

Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical/Surgical Telemetry – Nights (Float Pool)

Tucson, Arizona

Schedule / Job Type

Contract – 13 Weeks | Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, three 12-hour shifts per week | 48-hour guarantee considered | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and facility policies and procedures
• Demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in planning and delivering safe patient care
• Delegate patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of available staff
• Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care
• Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education
• Float between multiple facilities and departments as required within the float pool assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active Arizona RN license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Minimum 2 years of Medical/Surgical Telemetry nursing experience
• Proficiency with Cerner EMR
• Willingness to float between multiple facilities and departments

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a float pool or multi-facility environment
• Familiarity with a 6:1 patient-to-nurse ratio setting
