Hiring: Sonographer / Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) Employment Type: Full-Time Schedule: Monday – Friday | Day Shift Position Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sonographer / Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) to join a growing vascular and imaging team in Brier Creek, Raleigh, NC. The ideal candidate will have strong experience performing vascular ultrasound studies and assisting with venous ablation procedures in a fast-paced outpatient clinical environment. This position requires expertise in vascular imaging, excellent patient care skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with physicians and clinical staff. Key Responsibilities Vascular Ultrasound & Imaging Perform high-quality vascular ultrasound examinations including: Renal Artery Studies Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm (AAA) Studies Dialysis Access Evaluations Obtain accurate diagnostic images and measurements for physician interpretation Ensure all ultrasound studies meet quality and diagnostic standards Procedural Support Ultrasound-guided vascular procedures Venous ablations Minimally invasive vascular interventions Prepare patients and equipment for procedures Maintain sterile and safe procedural environments Monitor patients during procedures and provide appropriate support Patient Care & Documentation Deliver compassionate and professional patient care Explain procedures and answer patient questions Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation Ensure timely completion of reports and procedure documentation Follow HIPAA, safety, and infection control standards Equipment & Clinical Operations Prepare and maintain ultrasound equipment and exam rooms Perform routine quality checks on imaging equipment Coordinate effectively with physicians, nurses, and administrative staff Maintain organized workflow in a busy outpatient vascular setting Required Qualifications Education Associate Degree required OR Completion of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Ultrasound Program Certifications One of the following certifications is required: ARDMS Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) OR CCI Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) Experience Experience performing vascular ultrasound studies required Experience assisting with venous ablations strongly preferred Prior vascular imaging experience in outpatient or clinical settings preferred Required Skills Vascular Imaging Ultrasound-Guided Procedures Venous Ablation Support Medical Documentation Clinical Communication Time Management Attention to Detail Preferred Candidate Profile The ideal candidate will demonstrate: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and within a team environment Strong patient-focused approach Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical setting Professionalism and attention to detail Compensation Pay Rate: $45 – $55 per hour $5,000 Commitment Incentive Benefits Package 401(k) with Company Match Health Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance Paid Time Off (PTO) Tuition Reimbursement License Reimbursement Travel Reimbursement Stable Monday–Friday Schedule No Nights or Weekends Why Join Us?
