Londonderry, NH, US, 03053 Litchfield Park, AZ, US, 85340 Downey, CA, US, 90241 Gainesville, GA, US, 30501 Joplin, MO, US, 64801 Merrick, NY, US, 11566 Purpose This role will be part of the Liberty Business Service Fixed Asset Lifecycle Team and will perform regulated utility accounting and analytic functions to accurately prepare and report on the Company's financial statements and disclosures relating to PP&E, while ensuring adherence to specific utility regulations such as FERC, NARUC and GAAP accounting standards. Accountabilities Maintaining continuing property ledgers Maintaining work order statuses Analyzing fixed asset costs Tracking depreciation Preparing regulatory and financial reports Ensuring compliance with utility‑specific rules Assisting with internal and external audits Essential Skills Strong knowledge of utility accounting principles Experience with financial systems Analytical abilities Proficiency in regulatory frameworks Ability to analyze financial data and perform variance analysis Provide insights to support decision‑making and rate cases Education and Experience Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or Finance, required Certifications: CPA or CMA certification preferred Accounting Knowledge: Strong understanding of GAAP and specialized utility accounting principles Software Proficiency: Experience with financial and accounting software; SAP S/4 Hana and PowerPlan would be a benefit Analytical & Communication Skills: Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills to interpret and explain financial information Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with regulations from bodies such as the SEC and FERC/NARUC Our Mission We provide safe, secure, reliable, cost‑effective and sustainable energy and water solutions.
