Job Description Premier Medical Staffing Services, LLC is seeking an experienced Medical Surgical Registered Nurse for an exciting Travel Nursing job in Cresco, IA. Responsibilities Provide skilled nursing care to patients, working onsite in their homes, including administering medications, performing wound care, and conducting patient assessments. Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals. Monitor patients' conditions and report changes. Educate patients and their families on disease management, medication, and treatment options. Maintain accurate records of patient care and coordinate with other healthcare professionals. Report patient care and condition progress to patient's physician and Clinical Manager. Oversee the work of Home Health Aides and monitor their appropriate completion of documentation. Qualifications Med surg, ICU, ER, or acute experience Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse licensure Current CPR certification Experience collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals Valid driver's license, auto insurance and reliable transportation Preferred Qualifications One year nursing experience Home Health experience Pay Pay Per Visit/Unit Rate: $49.00 - $69.00 Physical Demands Lift and carry 40-50 lbs. Examples: Push/pull patients on bed, stretcher (requires 29 lbs. push force), lateral transfers up to 50 lbs. of the patient's weight. Frequent to continuous standing/walking. Patient transporters can walk 8-10 miles per shift. *Patient care providers may be required to perform activities specific to their role including kneeling, bending, squatting and performing CPR.
