Required Skills:

• Medical degree from an accredited institution and active California medical license
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN
• Proven experience as an OB Hospitalist or in obstetric inpatient care
• Excellent clinical judgment and strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of current obstetrics protocols and hospital policies

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with high-risk pregnancies or advanced fetal monitoring
• Advanced certifications such as Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
• Bilingual abilities to serve diverse patient populations
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems

Preferred Education and Experience:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Minimum of 3 years of obstetric hospitalist experience
• Current CPR, NRP, and other relevant certifications
• Valid California medical license or eligibility to obtain one

Other Requirements:

• Must hold or be eligible for a California medical license
• Willingness to work on a locum basis with flexible scheduling options
• Compliance with all hospital credentialing and privileging requirements
• Ability to travel to Bakersfield, CA, as needed
