Per Diem Registered Nurse

Assignment Duration

This is a per diem position with a required availability for the strike date.

Schedule

Shift hours are from 06:00 AM to 06:00 PM, with obligations to work on the strike date of 9/15/26.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide compassionate care and support to patients in a dynamic environment. This role requires immediate availability for onboarding and must include participation in the strike. The nurse is expected to float to multiple departments as needed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to assigned patients.
• Participate actively in patient care planning and implementation.
• Provide support and education to patients and their families.
• Document patient progress and communicate effectively with the healthcare team.
• Float to different units as required, contributing to the overall healthcare delivery process.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active nursing license verification.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications as applicable.
• Proof of MMR and Varicella vaccination or acceptable attestation.
• Eligibility to float between departments as necessary.
