CNC Machine Operator

Job Description

The CNC Machine Operator will manage the setup and operation of milling machines and lathes within a small team environment, ensuring products meet quality standards without the need for programming tasks. This role emphasizes safety compliance, precision, and effective communication to maintain smooth production.

Shift: 2nd (2pm-10pm)

Responsibilities

Set up milling machines and lathes for production runs
Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as needed
Inspect parts for quality and adherence to specifications
Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols
Maintain accurate documentation of production and inspections
Troubleshoot mechanical issues and coordinate repairs

Preferred Qualifications

1+ years of experience in CNC machining
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to read and interpret blueprints
Experience with precision measurement and quality control
Strong understanding of safety standards
Problem-solving skills
Attention to detail
Effective communication abilities
