Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab/EP

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to provide specialized care in the Cardiac Cath Lab/EP environment. The ideal candidate will assist with cardiac procedures, monitor patients, and ensure safety protocols are followed during interventions.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Administer patient care before, during, and after cardiac procedures in the cath lab and electrophysiology lab.
  
  
• 
  Monitor patient vitals, respond to changes, and escalate concerns to the medical team.
  
  
• 
  Assist physicians with invasive procedures, ensuring all equipment and supplies are prepared.
  
  
• 
  Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, procedures, and outcomes.
  
  
• 
  Adhere to infection control and safety standards throughout all clinical activities.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care plans.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Valid registered nurse license with active state licensure.
  
  
• 
  At least one year of recent experience in a cardiac cath lab or electrophysiology setting.
  
  
• 
  BLS and ACLS certifications, or able to obtain prior to start.
  
  
• 
  Ability to float within scope to similar units if required.
  
  
• 
  Strong knowledge of cardiac monitoring, invasive procedures, and patient assessment.
  
  
• 
  Excellent communication and critical thinking skills.
