Position Overview We are seeking experienced Refrigeration Technicians to join our fast-paced team. Ideal candidates will have strong troubleshooting skills, installation experience, and a commitment to customer service Responsibilities Diagnose and repair building mechanical systems (RTUs, split systems, refrigeration) Perform installations based on diagnosis and layout plans Interpret blueprints and wiring diagrams Use mobile software for job tracking and timekeeping Communicate effectively with customers and facility directors Maintain a safe and organized work environment Perform light plumbing tasks Qualifications High School Diploma or GED 2+ years HVAC-R or mechanical experience EPA Universal Certification (or in progress) Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation OSHA 10 (minimum); OSHA 30 preferred TracPipe Certification (preferred) Strong mechanical knowledge and problem-solving skills Ability to read schematics and use power tools Company Expectations Uphold GCM Mechanical’s core values Communicate respectfully in person and via technology Be punctual, self-motivated, and a team player Provide personal hand tools and cordless power tool kit Be teachable and open to learning new methods Benefits & Perks Competitive pay based on experience Full time steady work (have not had to do layoffs since we started our company) If you show up, work hard, and do things right — you’ll fit in here.
