We are growing rapidly and looking for high performers at every level to grow with us.POSITION SUMMARY:The Food and Beverage Coordinator ( F&B Coordinator) will serve as a front line supervisor of a diversified business that includes a full services grill, kitchen, fast food service, concession stands, mobile food carts, online meals, team meals, and catering services. The F&B Coordinator must have the ability to effectively manage part-time staff, adhere to cash handling policies, and ensure efficient operation of all food and beverage outlets.CRITICAL RESPONSIBILITIES:Ensure Rocky Top Sports World is operating within all food and beverage health codes, proper food preparation, cooking guidelines and sanitation requirementsAssist with and manage all aspects of the Food and Beverage inventory including executing weekly/monthly inventories, food ordering, invoicing, pricing and cost controlsAdhere to all cash handling policies to ensure the highest possible integrity of our cash flow is managed and achievedMaintain a level of personal and professional integrity as a representative of Rocky Top Sports World community we represent the City of Gatlinburg and the County of SevierPRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:Work as a team player with other members of management to ensure continuity and teamwork is displayed, embraced and leveraged at all times.Direct and lead all aspects of the concession stand staff during events.Assist with coordinating training activities inclusive of all food and beverage locations and roles for production and service employees.Assist in managing the daily operations of concession stands by overseeing all part time staff members to ensure they are following company policies and performing their job duties properly in the absence of the F&B MangerEnsure that all patrons are treated respectfully and accommodated efficiently according to their needs.Ensure that all service staff are trained in proper customer service skills and techniques to deliver high quality service to patrons.Work closely with the F&B Manager and other management staff to ensure that the food and beverage service meets the needs of customers.Maintain proper levels of food, drinks, and other items needed for efficient sales and operation.Assist in developing schedules for each of the food and beverage outlets based on business volume and staff availability.Monitor the condition of the kitchen to ensure that it is clean, safe, and comfortable for guests.Responsible for closing, restocking, and cleaning of all food and beverage outlets during events. Ensure all labor laws are meet within the concession stands.Assist with event catering needs. i.e.- communication, sales, and setupVarious other duties as required.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:TN Food Certification Permit within 90 days of hireAbility to operate all kitchen equipment.Working knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and POS SystemsDemonstrated ability to teach cash handling, POS operation, food safety and handling guidelines.Willingness to engage in continuing education to meet all of the requirements of this position.Initiative, drive, and dedicationMust have excellent interpersonal, problem solving, and negotiating skills.Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.Must have strong organizational skills.Must be able to work flexible schedules including weekends, nights, and holidays.Prior responsibility for P&L management and budget oversightTRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:Minimal travel as needed to various trade shows and corporate office trainingWORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:Lifting (up to 50lbs); bending, and reachingWill be required to sit or stand for extended periods of timeWorkplace environment has intermittent noise, generally moderate in nature, but can be loud at times especially during competitions and eventsExposure to heat, cold and other elements
