We are seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer with strong experience in Playwright to design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for web applications. The ideal candidate will have expertise in test automation, API testing, CI/CD integration, and Agile methodologies to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright .
- Create and execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end test cases.
- Collaborate with Developers, Product Owners, and Business Analysts to understand requirements and define test strategies.
- Develop reusable automation frameworks and test utilities.
- Perform API testing using tools such as Postman, Rest Assured, or Playwright API testing.
- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines.
- Analyze test execution results, identify defects, and work closely with development teams for resolution.
- Participate in sprint planning, grooming, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies.
- Maintain test documentation, test plans, and execution reports.
- Continuously improve automation coverage, performance, and testing processes.
- Proven years of Software Quality Assurance experience.
- Proven years of hands-on experience with Playwright automation.
- Strong programming skills in JavaScript/TypeScript or Java .
- Experience with test frameworks such as:
- Playwright Test
- Jest
- Mocha
- TestNG (if using Java)
- Experience in API testing and automation.
- Strong understanding of:
- Functional Testing
- Regression Testing
- End-to-End Testing
- Cross-browser Testing
- Experience with CI/CD tools:
- Jenkins
- GitHub Actions
- Azure DevOps
- Version control experience with Git.
- Knowledge of SQL and database validation.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Experience testing microservices architectures.
- Exposure to Docker and Kubernetes/OpenShift.
- Knowledge of performance testing tools.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
