## Respiratory Therapist - Per Diem Level I - NightsApplylocations: NCH 800 W Central Rd Arlington Heightstime type: Part timeposted on: Posted Todayjob requisition id: R43981**Hourly Pay Range:**$33.16 - $49.74 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.**Position Highlights:*** **Position:** Respiratory Therapist - Per Diem Level I - Nights* **Location:** Northwest Community Hospital - Arlington Heights, IL* **Per Diem Level I - Must be able to work 48 hours every 6 weeks. 24 of those hours must be on the weekend.*** **Hours:** Days will vary Monday-Friday from 7pm - 7:30am, with holidays requirements.**What you will do:*** Assists Physicians, as requested with Respiratory Therapy procedures* Provide respiratory therapy to neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients as ordered by physicians according hospital policy and procedures* Assess patients to determine most suitable method of administering treatment* Document treatment, equipment maintenance and quality control activities and transcribe verbal or phone order by physicians* Communicate to patient and family the treatment being performed in a clear manner* Monitor patient physiological response to therapy with special attention to the pediatric and neonatal patients* Provide patient and staff education**What you will need:*** **Education**: Graduation from a nationally accredited Respiratory Therapy program, as determined by the Committee on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC)* **License/Certifications:** Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or proof of registry eligible status* State of Illinois Respiratory Care Practitioner licensure within six months of employment* Current CPR certification issued by the American Heart Association* ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) within 24 months of employment* NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) within 24 months of employment* PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) within 24 months of employment**Benefits (For full time or part time positions):*** Premium pay such as shift, on call, holiday and more based on an employee’s job* Incentive pay for select positions* Opportunity for annual increases based on performance* Career Pathways to Promote Professional Growth and Development* Various Medical, Dental, Pet and Vision options* Tuition Reimbursement* Free Parking* Wellness Program Savings Plan* Health Savings Account Options* Retirement Options with Company Match* Paid Time Off and Holiday Pay* Community Involvement OpportunitiesEndeavor Health is a fully integrated healthcare delivery system committed to providing access to quality, vibrant, community-connected care, serving an area of more than 4.2 million residents across six northeast Illinois counties.
