Position Summary

As a cashier, you will be providing a positive customer experience with fair, friendly, and courteous service. You will be using point-of-sale equipment to register sales by scanning items, itemizing, and totaling customers' purchases.

Responsibilities

• Processes customer purchases, perform general cleaning duties and return misplaced items to the shelves.
• Provide exceptional customer service, assisting customers with their shopping experience.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate clearly to the store management team.
• Provide feedback to management on all products, inventory losses, scanning errors, and general issues.
• Participate in taking store inventory counts according to guidelines and monitoring inventory for accuracy.
• Adheres to cash policies and procedures to minimize losses.
• Complies with all other established company policies and procedures.
• Collaborates with team members and communicates relevant information to the direct leader.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Must be 16 years or older.
• Highly organized with a keen sense of details.
• Great listening and communication skills.
• Can handle lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, bending, and twisting while handling products or using various equipment.
• Ability to shine in a fast-paced environment.
• Cash handling efficiency.

The physical demands and work conditions below represent those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Some requirements may be modified to accommodate individuals with disabilities:

• Regularly required to stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk about the store.
• The work environment is typical of a retail store. The noise level ranges from quiet to loud. The front end of the store is partially cooler and must be able to adapt and be comfortable in a cooler-than-normal temperature environment.
• Minimal sitting is required.

Pay scale $15.00 - $20.00. The pay scale above is the hourly wage range that the Company reasonably expects to pay for this position. *Manager roles have a bonus target potential paid out quarterly based on company results/metrics. Within this range, individual pay is determined by location and other factors including, but not limited to, specific skills, relevant work experience, and relevant education and/or training. The Company offers competitive medical, dental, vision, and supplemental benefits to its team members. Team Members are also able to participate in the company's 401k plan that includes a safe harbor match.
