Strategic Finance Associate

Whitecap Search is seeking a motivated individual to join a Strategic Financing team in New York. This team is responsible for sourcing and optimizing credit facilities within the platform. These include asset-backed facilities secured by fund investments, subscription facilities backed by capital commitments, and other customized financing solutions. The ideal candidate should be highly organized with excellent attention to detail and demonstrate the ability to meet tight deadlines while working both independently and collaboratively within a team. Responsibilities

• Ensure adherence to credit facility terms, including ongoing Borrowing Base compliance.
• Collaborate with Legal and Business Development teams on new fund pipelines and investor inquiries.
• Identify and source term sheets for new opportunities.
• Amend agreements or refinance as necessary to align with current market terms.
• Oversee various existing asset warehousing arrangements.
• Work with operational teams on the mechanics of facility closings and daily monitoring.
• Review and compare leverage across funds to ensure leverage targets are met.

Requirements

• Graduate with a bachelor's degree in Finance or related field.
• 1-7 years of experience in the financial services industry.
• Understanding of credit facilities and/or CLOs.
• Understanding of bank loans.
• Proficient in Excel and Outlook.
