BC Psychiatrist needed for leadership position and NP supervision

Position Overview

1099 psychiatrist. Leadership position – Supplement your current income.

Patient Population: Adolescent and Adult populations.

Schedule: Flexible, approximately 20 hours or less of administrative duties monthly with the ability to work extra hours to earn additional compensation treating patients.

Weekend/weekday Coverage: Negotiable.

Employment Type: 1099 position.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct admission evaluations, develop treatment plans, and provide ongoing treatment follow-up for child and adolescent patients.
• Participate in daily treatment team meetings.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care.
• Complete required patient documentation and notes in accordance with facility guidelines.
• Administrative duties, leadership meeting attendance, supervision of NPs.

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive rates for 1099.

Qualifications

• Education: M.D./D.O. with Board Certification in General Psychiatry; BC in Child/Adolescent Psychiatry a plus.
• Training: Successful completion of an accredited Psychiatry residency and Child/Adolescent fellowship program a plus.
• Licensure: Georgia medical license and DEA in good standing or eligibility to obtain it.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years experience post training; willing and experienced treating ages 12 and older.
• Leadership: Experience and comfort in participating in leadership meetings and administrative duties up to 20 hours per month; supervision of NPs is required.
