The Opportunity

The Executive Director serves as the organization's chief leader, fundraiser, and public representative. This individual will oversee day-to-day operations while driving strategic initiatives that expand awareness, engagement, and support for those living with Parkinson's Disease.

What You'll Do

• Lead fundraising, donor development, and stewardship activities
• Identify and cultivate new funding opportunities, sponsorships, and community partnerships
• Collaborate with the Board of Directors on strategic priorities and governance matters
• Oversee budgeting, financial management, and organizational performance
• Represent HPA at community events, meetings, and public engagements
• Expand volunteer recruitment, retention, and engagement efforts
• Provide leadership for programs, special events, and outreach initiatives
• Foster relationships with healthcare providers, nonprofits, corporations, and community stakeholders
• Support long-term organizational growth and mission advancement

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree required
• Five or more years of nonprofit fundraising, community relations, executive leadership, or comparable experience
• Demonstrated success building donor relationships and securing financial support
• Strong background in partnership development, public engagement, and relationship management
• Experience leading strategic planning and organizational initiatives
• Financial and budget oversight experience
• Outstanding communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Passion for mission-driven work and community impact
• Knowledge of Parkinson's Disease or related healthcare communities is helpful but not required

Position Details

• Location: Honolulu, Hawaii residency required; occasional interisland and mainland travel anticipated
• Schedule: Full-time with flexibility to attend evening and weekend events as needed
• Hybrid

Compensation & Benefits

$75,000-$90,000 annual salary , depending on qualifications and experience, plus performance-based bonus opportunity.

Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related considerations.
