Production Laborer

Basic Job Functions for Production: Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

• Properly follow company and OSHA safety procedures.
• Schedule- 4PM-1AM Monday- Friday.
• Monitor, clean and inspect plant production equipment to ensure proper operation.
• Operate mobile equipment including front-end loader, forklift, and skid loader.
• Assist other workers as needed.
• Cleanup and other duties as assigned.

* Minimum Qualifications for Production:

• Experience in an industrial/outdoor work environment.
• Ability to operate equipment under varying working conditions.
• Ability to work with others in a team environment.
• Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency.
• Ability to work flexible hours to include overtime and weekends.
