# Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – Texas Start Date: October 12, 2026
Location: El Paso, Texas
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 36 or 48 hours per week (facility approval required), includes 4 weekend days per month Highlights: - 13-week contract assignment in a 26-bed Emergency Department- 4:1 nurse-to-patient ratio with experienced team support- Level 3 EMR system in use- Work with diverse emergency cases including moderate sedation, cardioversion, and central line placement- Collaborative team environment with dedicated charge nurses, unit coordinators, and support staff on every shift- Advanced equipment including ventilators, EKG, and teleneuro monitoring Requirements: - Active Texas RN license or compact state license- Current BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and PALS or ENPC certifications- CPI certification required- Emergency Department experience strongly preferred- IV insertion, EKG interpretation, Foley catheterization, and lumbar puncture experience- STABLE and NRP certifications preferred- Must wear cobalt/royal blue scrubs Why It's a Great Opportunity: This Emergency Department values teamwork, energy, and a collaborative approach to patient care.
