Systems Engineer

Salary: $95,000 - 105,000 per year Requirements: We require 4+ years of experience in IT infrastructure or systems engineering We require strong hands-on administration experience with Microsoft 365 We require experience with Windows Server We require a solid understanding of networking fundamentals, including VPNs, VLANs, firewalls, and switching We require experience with VMware or Hyper-V We require excellent troubleshooting and communication abilities We require comfort learning new customer applications We require strong documentation skills and the ability to meet timelines Preferred: Microsoft Azure experience Preferred: Experience with Intune and endpoint management Preferred: Experience with Microsoft Defender Preferred: PowerShell scripting and automation skills Preferred: MSP experience Preferred: Security certifications such as Security+, AZ-104, AZ-500, or similar Responsibilities: We design, deploy, and support Microsoft 365 and Azure environments We lead infrastructure, migration, and modernization initiatives We implement cybersecurity best practices and security controls We support Microsoft Intune, Azure, Entra ID, and Microsoft Defender We troubleshoot complex infrastructure and networking issues We take part in security assessments and remediation work We work directly with clients to plan and implement technology solutions We mentor junior engineers and act as an escalation resource We create technical documentation and improve internal processes Technologies: Architect Azure Cloud Hyper-V Support Microsoft 365 Microsoft Intune PowerShell Security VMware Windows Office 365 More: We are SG Computers, a growing managed services and cybersecurity provider supporting manufacturers, biotech companies, and government contractors across New England.
