Job Description

The district is seeking a qualified Special Education Teacher to provide instruction and support for students in the Grades 6-12 Life Skills Extended School Year Program. Must hold appropriate RIDE certification in Special Education. Orientation: July 13, 2026 Program Dates: July 14, 2026 - August 6, 2026 Hours: 8:30 am - Noon Days: Every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday Wrap-Up Day: August 7, 2026 $55 per hour Position Type: Summer Job Categories: Special Education > Life Skills

Job Requirements

• National BCI Required
• At least 1 year(s) of relevant experience preferred.
• Bachelor degree preferred.
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required

Verified transcripts are preferable- if not possible we ask that you bring paper copies of all schooling to your interview. For hiring purposes, selected candidates will need to provide official documentation of any post secondary schooling and teaching experience (if applicable) for salary determination.
