Maintenance Technician - Social Circle, GABGIS is currently seeking a Maintenance Technician to join the team in Social Circle, GA. The team is dedicated to inspiring better business performance and helping clients focus on their core businesses.Responsibilities:Maintain building systemsInspect buildings, grounds, and equipment for unsafe or malfunctioning conditionsAssist with ancillary building systems necessary to keep systems operating at peak performance with minimal downtimeReceive direction from Lead Facility Engineer or Facility ManagerMaintain facility equipment as indicated by preventative maintenance planProvide general building maintenance and perform routine maintenance tasksTroubleshoot, evaluate and recommend upgradesOrder parts and supplies for maintenance and repairsForward high-level technical maintenance to appropriate resourceCustomer serviceRespond to customer service requestsMonitor service requests in work order management systemDemonstrate exceptional customer service skills and maintain positive and professional working relationship with internal and external clientsRespond to off hour emergency callsWork with vendors and contractors to oversee and ensure work meets BGIS standardsOther duties as assignedAdditional Qualifications/Responsibilities:Required education, knowledge, and abilities:One (1) year of experience with building/facility operations or training equivalentHigh School diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent work experience requiredExperience or knowledge of maintaining building infrastructure is preferredPhysical Demands and Work Environment:Ability to work at heights and from laddersAbility to regularly walk, use hands and fingers, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawlRegularly lift and/or move up to 75 poundsRespond to off hour emergency callsLocation:City: Social CircleState: GeorgiaJob Code: Operations SpecialistCompany: BGIS
