Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Behavioral Health Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality nursing care to patients with mental health, behavioral, and psychiatric conditions. The Behavioral Health RN will assess patient needs, administer medications, monitor treatment progress, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support patient recovery and emotional well-being.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities
Assess and monitor patients with behavioral health and psychiatric conditions
Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans
Administer medications and monitor patient responses
Conduct mental health assessments and document patient progress
Provide crisis intervention and emotional support
Monitor patient safety and maintain a therapeutic environment
Educate patients and families about treatment plans and coping strategies
Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, social workers, and healthcare staff
Maintain accurate patient records and comply with healthcare regulations
Respond effectively to psychiatric emergencies and de-escalation situations

Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
BLS certification required
Experience in behavioral health, psychiatric, or mental health nursing preferred
Strong communication, observation, and critical-thinking skills
Ability to manage stressful situations calmly and professionally
