HealthYes Staffing Network is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Internal Medicine Physician for a permanent Day Hospitalist position with an established regional medical center in Southeast Alabama, near the Florida Panhandle and Southwest Georgia.

 

This is an immediate opening within a stable hospitalist group of more than 30 Internal Medicine physicians. The position offers a true 7-on/7-off block schedule, dedicated nocturnist coverage, no procedures, and access to extensive subspecialty and critical-care support.

 

Position Highlights

• Permanent, hospital-employed position

• Seven days on followed by seven days off

• No call responsibilities
• No procedures required
• Established Internal Medicine hospitalist team
• Intensivist and subspecialist support
• Advanced practice provider support
• $100,000 signing-bonus package
• H-1B transfer sponsorship available
• J-1 sponsorship is not available at this time

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive inpatient care to adult patients
• Manage unassigned admissions from the emergency department
• Accept and manage appropriate hospital transfers
• Perform inpatient medical consultations
• Coordinate treatment with specialists, intensivists, nurses, and advanced practice providers
• Participate in clinical quality and performance-improvement initiatives
• Complete, accurate, and timely documentation

 

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Internal Medicine residency
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Internal Medicine
• Eligible for an unrestricted Alabama medical license
• Strong inpatient clinical judgment and communication skills
• Physicians requiring an H-1B transfer may be considered
