LTAC / Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN)

Location: Chattanooga, TN Contract Type: Travel Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 3x12 Nights Pay: $2,116.80/week Completion Bonus: $2,500 per contract (up to $7,500 after three contracts)

Job Description ATC Healthcare is seeking an experienced LTAC / Telemetry Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment caring for medically complex patients in a long-term acute care setting. The RN is responsible for delivering patient care using the Nursing Process in accordance with state practice standards and clinical policies. This role requires strong clinical judgment, leadership, and the ability to prioritize and delegate care effectively while supporting high-acuity patients with advanced respiratory and line needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in an LTAC / Telemetry environment
• Manage patients with complex, chronic, and high-acuity conditions
• Care for patients with ventilators and tracheostomies
• Manage and monitor central lines and IV therapies
• Administer medications and treatments per provider orders
• Delegate and supervise assigned support staff
• Coordinate and prioritize patient care activities
• Maintain clinical competencies and follow care protocols
• Document all patient care in the EMR

Qualifications

• Active Tennessee RN license or multi-state compact RN license
• 25 years of RN experience required
• LTAC and/or Telemetry experience preferred
• Ventilator and tracheostomy care experience required
• Central line knowledge required
• Wound care experience preferred
• BLS certification (AHA) required
• ACLS certification (AHA) required
• Required certifications must be attached at submission
