Job Title: Enterprise Security Architect

Role Overview:
You will help define and advance cybersecurity architecture across a large, complex enterprise environment. This senior role establishes security standards, frameworks, and strategic roadmaps. You will work closely with business and technology teams to ensure security is integrated into enterprise solutions and aligned with business goals and regulatory requirements. This position does not involve hands‑on engineering but requires a strong technical cybersecurity foundation, enterprise architecture experience, business sense, and excellent communication skills with both technical teams and leadership.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain enterprise cybersecurity architecture standards, frameworks, and principles
• Provide architectural guidance on cybersecurity initiatives and modernization efforts
• Perform complex threat modeling and evaluate security risks for new and existing technologies
• Create enterprise architecture documentation, security patterns, and technology roadmaps
• Assess proposed solutions against security requirements and recommend improvements
• Stay informed about emerging cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and trends
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, security teams, and stakeholders across business units
• Translate cybersecurity concepts into clear recommendations for executive audiences
• Participate in architecture reviews and provide security guidance throughout project lifecycles
• Support multiple initiatives with varying security and regulatory needs
• Help establish consistent cybersecurity governance and standards
• Provide guidance across identity, network security, cloud security, infrastructure, data protection, application security, and emerging technologies
• Contribute to security strategies that support broader business and technology goals

Required Qualifications:

• Significant cybersecurity experience with knowledge across multiple security domains
• 7+ years of senior cybersecurity architecture or related enterprise security experience with progression into architecture roles
• Experience operating as an Enterprise Architect, Cybersecurity Architect, Security Architect, or similar
• Experience working in a large, complex enterprise environment
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity architecture principles, frameworks, governance, and risk management
• Demonstrated experience in complex threat modeling and security architecture assessments
• Skill in developing architecture documentation, security standards, and technical requirements
• Ability to evaluate technologies against security and business requirements
• Broad knowledge of enterprise technologies and cybersecurity across multiple domains
• Strong business acumen and understanding of cybersecurity’s impact on business decisions
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for engaging technical staff and executives
• Clear ability to communicate technical risks, recommendations, and decisions to diverse audiences
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Technical Environment:
The organization primarily uses Microsoft Azure and cloud security, enterprise identity and access management, network and infrastructure security, Palo Alto security technologies, AI and emerging technology security, threat modeling, security architecture documentation, PCI and HIPAA compliance, AWS or other cloud platforms. Deep expertise in every technology is not required; a strong cybersecurity foundation and adaptable security principles across platforms are key.
