Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Mental Health Services

Location: Ogdensburg, NY

Schedule:

• Week 1: 2x12-hour shifts + 1x8-hour shift
• Week 2: 4x12-hour shifts
• Rotating schedule

Position Overview:

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join a multidisciplinary mental health treatment team providing patient-centered and recovery-focused care to individuals with serious mental illness. The RN will play a critical role in coordinating care, conducting assessments, implementing treatment plans, and supporting patients and families throughout the recovery process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments
• Develop, implement, and modify individualized nursing care plans
• Coordinate patient care with interdisciplinary treatment teams
• Provide health education, counseling, and support to patients and families
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses
• Observe, document, and report changes in patient condition
• Implement infection control protocols and procedures
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Support recovery-focused treatment goals and patient advocacy
• Participate in required training and compliance programs

Requirements:

• Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) License required
• Mental health or behavioral health experience preferred
• Strong assessment, communication, and patient care skills
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
• Background check required

Required Health Requirements:

• Measles and Rubella vaccination
• Tuberculosis screening
• Seasonal influenza vaccination or mask compliance during declared influenza season

Required Training (Provided Upon Assignment):

• OER Mandates Training (11 hours)
• Mandated Reporter Training (3 hours, if not already certified)
• IT Computer Training (1 hour)
• EMS/Narcan Training (2 hours)
• Infection Control Training (2 hours)
• TRUST Training (4 days)
• BLS & First Aid Training (1 day)
