ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and qualified Special Education Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year in Danville, CA. This full-time opportunity offers the chance to support students with diverse learning needs while working alongside a collaborative educational team focused on student growth and success.

Work Schedule:

• Full-Time

• 2026–2027 School Year

• NSY 26/27

• Caseload: To Be Determined

Qualifications:

• Active California Education Specialist Credential with Mild/Moderate and Moderate/Severe authorizations required

• Previous school-based special education experience preferred

• Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills

• Knowledge of special education compliance, IEP development, and implementation

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction aligned with IEP goals and California state standards

• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

• Provide individualized and small-group instruction based on student needs

• Collaborate with families, related service providers, administrators, and general education staff

• Implement appropriate academic, behavioral, and functional interventions

• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation

• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team collaboration

• Create a structured, positive, and inclusive learning environment
