About the Position
We are seeking a dependable Non-CDL Driver for local delivery operations in North Charleston. This opportunity involves hands-on unloading of the truck during deliveries.
Pay & Schedule
- Pay: $21.50 per hour
- Schedule: Monday through Friday
- Start time: 7:00 a.m.
Job Details
- Route type: Local delivery
- Freight: Delivery materials as assigned
- Equipment: Box truck
- Handling: Heavy-touch; drivers are responsible for unloading the truck during deliveries
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a non-CDL box truck on local delivery routes.
- Complete deliveries Monday through Friday according to the assigned schedule.
- Unload the truck at delivery locations.
- Handle freight carefully and maintain a professional demeanor with customers and site personnel.
- Follow all applicable transportation and workplace safety procedures.
Minimum Requirements
- 1+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.
- Box truck driving experience.
- Valid medical card.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
