Job SummaryThe CompanyMacdonald & Company is partnered with a privately held real estate investment and development firm in Denver to appoint an Asset Management Associate focused on multifamily and workforce housing assets.The company owns and operates a growing portfolio of residential communities across key Western U.S. markets. With a vertically integrated platform spanning acquisitions, development, and asset management, the firm is focused on delivering strong operational performance while creating high-quality housing for residents.As the portfolio continues to expand, the firm is seeking an Asset Management Associate to support the oversight and performance optimization of its multifamily and workforce housing investments.The PositionThe Asset Management Associate will support the asset management team in overseeing the operational and financial performance of a portfolio of multifamily and workforce housing assets.Working closely with senior asset management leadership, property management partners, and internal teams, the role will focus on financial analysis, reporting, budgeting, and execution of value-creation strategies across the portfolio. This position offers exposure to the full lifecycle of multifamily investments within a collaborative and growing investment platformRole ResponsibilitiesAssist in monitoring the operational and financial performance of multifamily and workforce housing assets across the portfolio.Analyze property-level financials and operating metrics to identify opportunities to enhance performance and NOI growth.Support preparation of annual budgets, business plans, and financial forecasts for portfolio assets.Review monthly operating reports and partner with property management teams to address variances and operational issues.Assist with execution of value-add initiatives, capital improvement projects, and repositioning strategies.Prepare asset-level reporting and investment updates for senior leadership and capital partners.Support asset-level refinancing, disposition, and recapitalization processes as needed.Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform asset strategy and leasing performance
