Speech Language Pathologist

We are seeking a qualified Speech Language Pathologist to provide home-based care. The successful candidate will work with patients requiring speech therapy, primarily in a home health setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and treat patients with communication disorders.
• Collaborate with patients and their families to develop personalized therapy plans.
• Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed in an electronic health record system.
• Provide education and support to both patients and caregivers.

Qualifications

• Current certification as a Speech Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP preferred).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Experience with OASIS documentation is essential.
• Minimum of one year of experience in physical therapy, occupational therapy, or speech therapy.
• Home health experience is preferred but not mandatory.

Schedule and Assignments

• Shifts are flexible, primarily Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
• Availability to work every third weekend is essential.
• Minor holidays may be required, with major holidays on an as-needed basis.
• Orientation will be provided for 1.5 to 2 weeks specific to the assigned geographical region.

Environment

Clinical settings will primarily be home health. Professional attire with a white lab coat is required; jeans are not permitted.
