Job Full Description Express Employment Professionals in Lawrence, Kansas are seeking a Safety and Compliance Manager for a great local client. This is a direct hire, salaried with benefits opportunity. This position ensures all fleet operations meet federal motor carrier regulations, manages driver qualifications, oversees IFTA tax reporting, and maintains an outstanding culture of safety. Candidates must have a minimum 2-5 years of safety and compliance management experience in the trucking/transportation industry, advanced knowledge of FMCSA, HOS, and ELD mandates, proven experience processing and filing IFTA quarterly taxes, attaining permits, and experience investigating DOT recordable incidents and accidents.
