Anesthesia Technician - Providence Alaska Medical Center

Job Overview Providence Alaska Medical Center is hiring an Anesthesia Technician for the Anchorage, Alaska location. The position is full time, 0.9 FTE, variable shift, 36 hours per week. Responsibilities Under supervision, the Anesthesia Technician supports anesthesiologists and other patient‑care team members. The technician serves as the operational expert in all aspects of anesthesia equipment and duties. Responsibilities include providing leadership, modeling correct performance standards, and fostering a positive working environment. This also involves directing, training, and overseeing other anesthesia assistant staff. Required Qualifications Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association. 1 year experience assisting with anesthesia care. Experience cleaning, stocking, testing, calibrating, and troubleshooting anesthesia equipment. Preferred Qualifications Upon hire: ACLS and PALS.
