General Information Job ID: 45852 Date: 1 June 2026 Job Family: Production Type of contract: Permanent Availability Available Shift: Monday-Friday 10am-6:30pm Responsibilities Responsible for the accurate and timely fulfillment of products. Verify product accuracy and quantity using an RF scanner; optimize package space; label packages correctly; ensure quality standards are met. Meet productivity and quality standards; record daily progress; operate a stand-up reach and forklift; maintain a clean workspace; lift up to 50 lbs; cross-train in other areas. Adhere to company safety policies. Independently monitor the dashboard for orders and prepare them for packing; ensure parts are scanned and packed in the correct boxes; secure boxes to skids for stability during transit. Use equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts) to move items; handle complex packing situations (large or fragile items). Train or mentor employees on packing processes and techniques; report discrepancies or damage to supervisors. Lead LTL shipping operations per company standards; oversee packing stations and ensure productivity targets are met. Troubleshoot and resolve complex packing or shipping issues; maintain regular communication with freight carriers to schedule shipments. Qualifications & Experience Experience: 2-4 years in LTL shipping, warehouse, or logistics roles. Experience handling basic packaging materials and operating warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, conveyors). Experience with handling and packing larger, heavier items using appropriate equipment. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve minor packing or shipment discrepancies. Expertise: Basic understanding of shipping processes and LTL logistics; ability to follow packing procedures; knowledge of safety protocols when handling large parts and operating equipment; proficient in shipping software and dashboards; understanding of box sizing, packing, and securing techniques for LTL shipments; handling complex orders. Education High school diploma or equivalent preferred Internal & External Connections Receiving/shipping associates and inventory control team What Manitou Group Offers Base pay range starting at $21/hour plus a potential annual bonus based on performance metrics. Actual pay determined by experience, skills, qualifications and work location.
