Maintenance Engineer

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical systems. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining efficient operations and ensuring the safety and functionality of various machinery.

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems including rollers, bearings, seals, air lines, hydraulic lines, belts, and conveyors.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems such as sensors, switches, light curtains, and safety circuits.
• Assist with PLC, drives, and other controls replacements.
• Perform preventative maintenance on all machinery, including cleaning and replacing pumps, filters, and belts.
• Log all maintenance activities in the IMaintenance CMMS system.

Essential Skills:

• 3+ years of experience in an industrial maintenance setting.
• Troubleshooting of 24V-480V systems in industrial production machines.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Mechanical and hydraulic systems troubleshooting.
• Must provide basic hand tool set.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Nice to have pneumatic troubleshooting skills.
• PLC troubleshooting with laptops is advantageous.
• Welding experience for custom fabrication needs is beneficial.
• Direct experience with corrugated manufacturing machinery is preferred.

Work Environment:

Work in a clean and climate-controlled environment with 300 employees on site. Maintenance technicians will need to stand, stoop, climb, and lift and carry. This position is for the 2nd shift from 3:00pm - 11:00pm, Monday through Friday.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lewisburg, OH.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $38.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
