FOOD SERVICE WORKER (FULL TIME AND PART TIME)

Job Overview We are hiring immediately for full‑time and part‑time Food Service Worker positions at NLH Acadia Hospital located at 268 Stillwater Avenue, Bangor, ME 04401. Online applications are accepted only. Schedule Full‑time and part‑time schedules. Days and hours may vary; rotating weekends included. More details given during interview. Pay $18.00–$21.00 per hour. Responsibilities Perform prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting and seeding fruits and vegetables. Weigh and measure designated ingredients. Carry pans, kettles and trays of food to and from work stations, stove and refrigerator in accordance with safety standards. Store food in designated areas following wrapping, dating, food safety and rotation procedures. Clean work areas, equipment and utensils. Distribute supplies, utensils and portable equipment. Utilize approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and standard portion control. Serve customers in a friendly, efficient manner following outlined steps of service. Resolve customer concerns and relay relevant information to supervisor. Ensure compliance with company service standards and inventory and cash control procedures. Assure compliance with all sanitation and safety requirements. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications No previous experience required. Qualified candidates must be able to perform the essential functions of this position satisfactorily with or without a reasonable accommodation.
