# **Join Our Team at Tallahassee State College****OPS Customer Service Representative Opportunity**Tallahassee State College is excited to announce a **part-time** opening for the position of **Customer Service Representative** at the Florida Public Safety Institute**.** We’re looking for someone who shares our commitment to fostering a vibrant campus community.**What You’ll Do** As **Customer Service Representative**, the day-to-day responsibilities will include:* Serve as the first point of contact for visitors, staff, vendors and store customers* Be the main point of contact for phone calls and in-person inquiries.* Process mail, packages, and deliveries – while maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk/reception area.* Assist with other operations- or store-related projects and tasks as assigned.* Varied hours between 7:30 and 5:00; 25 hours weekly**Who We’re Looking For** We’re seeking a candidate who brings not only technical expertise but also a passion for education and student success. Our ideal candidate will have:* High school diploma or equivalent* Prior experience in front desk, administrative support, retail, or operations role preferred* Strong communication and customer service skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ability to learn point-of-sale (POS) systems. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to multitask and handle a fast-paced environment.
