Clinical Research Coordinator II – University of Kentucky Location: Lexington, KY – Onsite Salary: $25.01 - 41.25 per hour Work Schedule: Monday ‑ Friday, 8:00am ‑ 4:30pm (40 hrs/week) Job Summary The Markey Cancer Center Clinical Research Organization is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator II . The primary responsibilities include obtaining, abstracting, and collating data, reports, etc. related to studies; maintaining and submitting all reports, forms, and updated records to groups required by study; assisting in designing a system for organizing, planning and controlling workflow related to the conduct of clinical studies and protocols; coordinating the flow of patients through the study or protocol, monitoring all events related to the patient and communicating any pertinent information to the Principal Investigator and appropriate health professionals; learning basics of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and standard operating procedures (SOP); monitoring safety and general well‑being of all patients by exercising independent clinical judgment regarding patient care issues and protocol adherence; assisting investigators with patient identification and recruitment; ensuring that per‑study and eligibility requirements of the protocol have been met for patients; maintaining cooperative and professional relationships with all clinical research participants; collaborating and consulting with other health professionals in planning care for study participation and to ensure protocol compliance; and other duties as assigned. Ensure per‑study and eligibility requirements have been met for patients. Maintain cooperative and professional relationships with participants. Collaborate and consult with medical professionals to ensure protocol compliance. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree (BS) and at least 3 years of related experience. Clinical research certification (e.g., CCRC, CCRA, CCRP) preferred. Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. Proficiency with office machines and software, including Microsoft Office. Robust interpersonal and communication skills. Initiative, collaboration, and advanced time‑management skills. Ability to perform technical tasks related to essential functions. Employment Details Grade Level: 46 Position Type: Staff Employment Status: Full‑Time Physical Requirement: Handling lightweight objects up to 10 pounds; sitting for long periods; some standing or walking; repetitive motion.
