Think that’s cool? Keep reading:The RoleSupervises, assigns, coordinates and evaluates semi-skilled and skilled trades personnel according to their skill, experience and job knowledge. Supervises and trains employees to improve quality and quantity of work performed. Recommends training to enhance skill and productivity of employees, and assists in development of training procedures. Breaks broad strategies down to practical action plans and ensures employees are trained to perform these plans. Responsible for complying with all technical aspects of the job including adherence to all drawings, procedures, etc. Responsible for manufacturing, installation, operation, testing, and process operations that have a significant financial impact on the company's performance. Supervises qualified electrical staff; monitoring job and budget performance for all shifts.Additional common management responsibilities as listed in Shipbuilding Management Charter 0001 within command media (SBMC 0001) and applicants should review the Charter and policies and procedures before applying for position.Must HaveHigh School Diploma and 10 years of experience with 4 years in a craft management role.Nice to HaveMust have experience in Ingalls cost structure and work order (bill) process and experience with planning, controlling and excution of outfitting schedule.Masters Degree and experience using IFS, cost and schedule accountability, and the ability to organize priorities to meet major events.
