Overview Team Captain – Endzone & Loyalty at DICK’S Sporting Goods leads front‑end operations, coaches teammates, and drives athlete engagement through loyalty programs. The role ensures a fast, friendly checkout experience while building strong relationships with athletes. Job Duties & Responsibilities Deliver outstanding athlete experiences by anticipating needs and providing clear, accurate, and knowledgeable information about products and assortment. Uphold merchandising and presentation standards by following floor sets, signage, pricing, inventory, replenishment, and other standards. Promote and lead company programs (e.g., loyalty, warranty sales, credit card enrollment). Contribute to 30‑60‑90‑day plans with SM and ASM to support business priorities. Develop and execute operational and merchandising plans within budget and financial goals. Serve as Head Coach when sole leader, overseeing opening/closing, front end, cash office, and teammate supervision. Communicate departmental goals, assign workload, and monitor progress; adjust plans to meet athlete traffic and store goals. Build and lead a high‑performing team: source, interview, hire, onboard, develop, and retain direct reports; manage performance reviews and promotions. Ensure a welcoming environment, enforce safety and loss prevention policies, and hold teammates accountable. Qualifications High School Diploma or Equivalent. 1–3 years of experience. Previous retail/customer‑facing experience required. People leadership experience preferred. Compensation & Benefits Targeted pay range: $53,500 – $67,500 for a 38‑hour week.
