Electrophysiology Registered Nurse (RN) - Seattle, WA

This is a 13-week contract position.

5x8-Hour Shift, Monday-Friday, 08:30 AM - 05:00 PM

The Electrophysiology Registered Nurse (RN) provides specialized care for patients undergoing electrophysiology procedures. The RN will work in a Heart & Vascular Clinic and collaborate as part of a team to ensure quality patient care and engagement.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with Electrophysiology procedures, including arrhythmia induction, cardiac ablation, and pacemaker insertion.
• Perform cardiac mapping, conduction studies, and cardioversion.
• Provide patient education on lifestyle and medication adherence.
• Engage in quality improvement initiatives within the unit.
• Administer medications including antiarrhythmics and thrombolytics as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• RN License required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Electrophysiology (EP) nursing is required.
• Experience in cardiac cath lab procedures including pacemaker/defibrillator lead extraction and Watchman procedure is essential.
• Familiarity with EPIC charting system is mandatory.
