About the Role
The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President of Philanthropic Services to join their team. This pivotal role is at the forefront of donor engagement and technical expertise, guiding individuals and professional advisors in structuring charitable giving strategies. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of significant donor relationships, overseeing a team of philanthropic advisors, and leading engagement with professional advisors to ensure the thoughtful execution of philanthropic work. The role demands a leader with a strong understanding of complex gifts, planned giving vehicles, and the legal and tax considerations that shape long-term philanthropy. A deeply relational approach is essential, as the AVP will be expected to build trust, guide donors through personal decisions, and create space for meaningful conversations about values, faith, and legacy. Applicants for the Associate Vice President of Philanthropic Services position at the company should have a minimum of 7 years' experience in estate planning, charitable planning, wealth management, or a related field, with a background in law, estate planning, or a similarly technical discipline strongly preferred. The ideal candidate will have a business development orientation, be adept at professional advisor engagement, and possess a growth mindset with a strong focus on project management and systems awareness. The role requires a candidate who is not only technically proficient but also aligned with the mission and values of the organization, with an appreciation for the role of faith in shaping generosity.
