Printer Operator The printer operator's responsibilities include changing date codes and cleaning cross bars within the first hour of your shift, and continuous cleaning of crossbars as needed throughout shift. Keep the printer area clean, organized, and free from safety hazards. Communicate with PM&R, shift supervisors for any unusual defects or electrical issues. Ensure all quality checks are completed on time "blanket checks, 15-min check". Communicating with incoming shift operator for shift handover. Ensure jobs are set up properly for incoming change overs. Check the varnish to cut edge coverage and perform muffle check on each line. Ensure viscosity on varnish units are running accordingly to standard. Qualifications Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity Ability to stand and perform repetitive tasks for long periods. Strong mechanical skills. Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team. Must be reliable, punctual, and safety conscious. Strong work ethic. Excellent time management skills. Positive relationships between colleagues and management. Work Environment May involve exposure to noise, moderate temperatures, and handling of materials. Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) required. Ability to lift 50lbs or more. Able to perform in a high-pressure fast paced environment.
