DOT Laborer w/ CDL-A

Safety without compromise Unapologetically competitive 360 Accountability As a DOT Laborer w/ CDL-A for RAM Construction Services, you will assist in the revitalization and construction of our projects. You will perform a variety of tasks that aid our skilled trade workers and lead to the completion and success of a project. Please note that this position may require the employee to travel for up to 4 weeks at a time, dependent on your project location . Driving company vehicle- must comply with company vehicle policies. Vehicles include 1 ton dump truck with trailer, 1 ton dually with trailer and a semi with a 53 foot trailer. Completing Department of Transportation logs and paperwork accurately. Unloading/loading of materials into and out of trucks. Lifting objects or materials weighing 60+ pounds and possible usage of hand tools and small power tools. Performing other relevant duties as assigned and assisting other skilled trade workers (caulking, waterproofing, etc.) in their performance Education, Experience & Qualifications Required: This position requires a minimum education level of High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Prior experience driving a tractor trailer with manual transmission and air-brakes required. Experience in the construction industry and with electronic log books preferred. The employee is required to have a valid CDL A, reliable transportation and a clean driving record. Travel: Travel is required for this position, the employee must be willing to travel for up to 4 weeks at a time. RAM will compensate a $50 per diem each day for daily food allowance. Technology: Some technology use may be required. If so, the employee will be properly trained on how to use software’s/equipment/etc. Work Environment: The employee will be subject to various work environments. Work environments may include but are not limited to the following: seasonal temperatures, high spaces, small spaces, loud and frequent noises, standing/walking for up to 12 hours a day, indoor/outdoor settings, areas close to traffic. Following Instructions: Adhering to instructions from superintendents, project managers and construction plans and blueprints. Cleanliness: Maintaining a clean, organized and hazard free work area Safety Compliance: Following all RAM health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe work environment.
