Job Description:

At La DoubleJ, we're looking for a dynamic Assistant Store Manager to join our team in Palm Beach (USA).


You will support the Store Manager in overseeing the store's daily operations, leading and motivating the team, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience that reflects La DoubleJ's brand values.In this role, you will help drive sales, support team development, uphold visual and operational standards, and contribute to creating a vibrant, results-oriented environment.


In this role, your key responsibilities will include:

Sales Target Achievement

• Support the coordination and execution of sales strategies to exceed all targets set by the brand;
• Analyze sales data to develop and implement a strategic action plan;
• Oversee in-store promotional displays and client events, collaborating with the visual merchandising, marketing, and PR teams as needed;
• Build strong relationships with local and VIP clients; work closely with the PR department and coordinate events.

Store Standards and Customer Service

• Act as a point of reference for the team and Store Manager to identify and address any issues;
• Demonstrate exemplary customer service and be ready to resolve any client concerns in accordance with brand policies;
• Ensure that store standards align with the La DoubleJ brand image.

Store Operating Budget Management

• Support the Store Manager in running store operations efficiently while minimizing costs.

Store Stock Management

• Review seasonal orders with the team to ensure merchandise stock is properly communicated to the buying office;
• Conduct business reviews with the team focusing on sell-through data;
• Support the Store Manager in managing all VIP and special requests between store staff and the brand's buying office;
• Supervise store staff to ensure compliance with inventory handling guidelines, stockroom procedures, and delivery policies.

Team Management

• Support the Store Manager in coordinating and motivating the store staff on a daily basis;
• Actively assist the Store Manager and HR team during the recruitment process of store personnel;
• Conduct in-store training sessions and coordinate product knowledge and collection presentations; organize onboarding plans for new hires;
• Support the Store Manager in planning the daily, weekly, and monthly staff schedules;
• Take part in the performance review process with the support of the HR team, following company procedures, and provide ongoing constructive feedback;
• Coordinate the store team's daily, weekly, and monthly schedules and assist HR in monitoring sickness and other absences, ensuring proper coverage is maintained.

What we're looking for:
• At least 2-3 years of experience in a similar retail or luxury fashion role;
• Strong leadership and people management skills;
• Results-driven, with a solid track record in reaching and exceeding sales goals;
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities;
• Proactive, hands-on, and capable of working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment;
• Passionate about fashion and the La DoubleJ universe.
